Covid taught us a lot.
Having gone through this entire experience, we should certainly hope that we have gained at least some new wisdom.
One such lesson, after Covid turned the world on its head, is that we shouldn’t take anything for granted. Not ever again. The pandemic challenged some of our most basic freedoms: to socialize, to do what we want with whomever we want, to attend live events, even to leave our homes whenever we choose.
And it took away our freedom to travel, to go to places we’ve longed to visit, and to enjoy experiences we always dreamed of. It showed us that our bucket lists are as fragile as nightly dreams – they vanish when circumstances change. In the cruelest way for millions of people all over the world, Covid tore up their bucket lists.
Covid hit us over the head with the reality that life is full of uncertainties, that we should do the things we want to do and do them now. That’s not selfish. That’s called living our lives with purpose. We have made purpose an important part of our post-Covid Tasimba experience.
Tasimba never belonged on a bucket list anyway! It is so impactful that for the rest of your life you will be inspired by all that you learned on safari about the wilderness, about yourself and about what’s really important to you.
