Eight years ago, we chose the name Tasimba because in Shona it means “together we are strong”. Since then, on every one of our safaris we have seen evidence of our name. When our guests choose to join a Tasimba safari, they spend a week in sole, undisturbed occupancy of our beautiful safari camp, among a group of like-minded others as members of their very own ‘African Clan’.
Within a day or two of amazing, shared experiences, inspiring conversation and campfire laughter they become bonded in friendships that long outlast this one unforgettable week. Together we are strong indeed!

In May we were proud to host a group of friends, the ‘Shamwari (friends) Clan’, many of whom have traveled all over the world together.
