That’s what our guests kept on saying every day on our fantastic, just-ended Lokuthula Clan safari. Starting at the magnificent Victoria Falls in full flood, we had an unforgettable week at two superb camps, Little Makalolo in the Hwange savannah and Ruckomechi on the mighty Zambezi River.
Lokuthula means ‘Place of Peace’ in the Shona language of Zimbabwe. After this week, we think it means ‘Place of Laughter’. This was a fun-filled group who made the most of every moment while sharing amazing wildlife encounters, the beautiful camps, sumptuous food and inspired conversations.
Every Tasimba safari is unique, and every one is filled with experiences that are deeply etched in our guests’ memories. Every day in camp brings something new, something unexpected, exciting and often deeply moving. That’s why we always urge our guests to journal, journal, journal – because they will forget what happened yesterday in the amazement of what happened today!
